None of those...... i spent my new years at...
church.
Yes church, I have to admit in the beginning i was a bit :/
I went with my bestie youjee, who was forced to go by her mum, and i accompanied her family.
The whole service was in korean, hence i didn't understand anything..
At this point your probably thinking...

Sure i cant say it was FUN but it was rather ENLIGHTENING.
The service was 2 hours and gave me a lot of time to reflect. I was thinking about what my friends were doing at that very moment
Sure they were partying, with music surrounded my friends, talking and so on.
But really- i was doing the same.
Party
a group of people gathered together for pleasure
We were a group of people- all embracing Christ.
Music
The people around me were actually singing songs that mattered. Lyrics that meant something, that make you feel something. While the rest of the population was listening to rave music. I saw the faces of the people singing, arms in the air, eyes closed, fully engrossed within the melody.
Friends
When I sat there for 2 hours i looked to my left and there sat youjee <3 my bestie, every moment with her is like a blessing, a miracle. I was surrounded by people that really cared for each other...
Talking
At parties what do you chat about? Whose hooking up? how much you've had to drink? irrelevant stuff. I started the new year with Jesus Christ, and talking about how to be a better person- how to love.
I don't mean to insult anyone else's new years plans im sure you had heaps of fun at parties =) and who doesn't love parties? But remember sometimes with just good to take a break - and realize your priorities.
